Huff Motorsports, Des Moines, WA As a professional racing team, Huff Motorsports is all about winning races – and gaining exposure for sponsors. And from the beginning, an Innuity-powered website has been just the vehicle they needed.
Huffmotorsports.com serves as a clubhouse, storefront and media outlet for the team and its growing database of fans. It has also helped the once regional team to reach a national audience. “We show up for a race in Tennessee now, and there’ll be 20 or 30 people already there waiting for us. That never happened before,” says owner Steve Huff.
Using simple, easy to use forms, visitors are able to register for news updates, schedule information and more. In the process, they were also creating a database of highly targeted prospects for Huff’s sponsors – something which was not lost in annual contract negotiations. “I can’t remember a single case of a sponsor who didn’t choose to renew with us,” says Steve. “They see the website, they see the kind of direct marketing opportunities we can offer them, and we just look a lot better than the other teams they’re considering.”
