For the past 20 years, Windoworks Etc. has grown by providing quality service, and by gaining word of mouth. And this year, owner Brett Hutton expects to keep growing, thanks in part to a professional-looking website from Innuity.

According to Brett, there were several reasons to get a website. As a service business without a traditional storefront, a website gives the company a sense of place. It also helps customers and prospects learn more about the services being offered. “Despite having our services listed on business cards and newsletters, I was surprised to see how many of my customers were unaware of other services we offered,” said Brett. “Most of the work generated by my website so far has been to existing customers!”

Taking that first step may have been the hardest. “I had been stalling. I knew I wanted a website, but I didn’t want to face the time and energy involved in buying and learning new software, learning HTML, getting a domain name, etc. When I discovered that I didn’t really have to do any of that, I knew I had found the solution.”

Would he recommend Innuity to other small business owners? “I already have,” says Brett. “The hardest part is convincing them that it’s not as expensive as it looks and that it’s easier than they think.”
